Purposd is a family of four faith and wellness apps designed to help you grow, heal, and live with clarity and purpose. Each app is tailored for a specific season of life: Purposd (personal growth), Purposd Marriage (for couples), Purposd Teen (for teenagers), and Purposd Recovery (for those in recovery).

All four apps share the same brand values: warm, hopeful, and never preachy. We want to walk alongside you — not lecture you.

We're launching in stages: Purposd (main) launches first, followed by Purposd Marriage, then Purposd Teen, and finally Purposd Recovery. Each app launches approximately 45 days after the previous one.

Yes — every Purposd app has a meaningful free tier. You can access daily devotionals, mood tracking, community features, and more at no cost.

Premium features (such as advanced AI coaching, extra steps in Recovery, and premium content) are available for $4.99/month. But the free tier is never a stripped-down trial — it's a genuinely useful experience on its own.

Safety features (crisis support, 988 Lifeline integration) are always free, always unlocked.

All four Purposd apps include full Spanish localization, including Spanish devotionals. We plan to add more languages in future updates based on community demand.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). To cancel, open your device's subscription settings and cancel from there.

In Purposd (main): When you invite a friend using your personal invite link and they install the app, you both receive +1 bonus streak day and a 3-day premium trial.

In Purposd Teen: Both you and your invited friend receive 7 days ad-free. For users under 13, a parental approval step is required before the invite is processed.

Each app has an AI coach powered by OpenAI's models, running securely on our servers — your conversations are private and the API key is never in your device. The coach maintains a memory loop, meaning it gets to know you over time and tailors responses to your history and goals.

You can choose your coach's personality: Encouraging & Warm, Direct & Motivating, or Gentle & Prayerful (styles vary slightly by app).

Both of you create individual accounts first. Then one partner generates a couple invite code in the app settings, and the other enters that code to link the accounts. Once linked, your shared devotionals, prayer journal, and Gottman exercises sync between both accounts.

Purposd Marriage includes all seven Gottman Method exercise types: Love Maps, Fondness & Admiration, Bids for Connection, Turning Toward, Positive Perspective, Managing Conflict, and Creating Shared Meaning.

These exercises are based on over 40 years of relationship research and are widely used by therapists and marriage counselors worldwide.

Never. Crisis support is always free and always accessible in Purposd Recovery. No step in the 12-step program is ever locked during a crisis moment. We take this seriously — there is no paywall between someone in a hard moment and the help they need.

Purposd Teen is built with safety as the first priority. Key protections include: every community post is AI-reviewed before publishing, no direct messaging between teens, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is always accessible and free, and under-13 accounts require parental email verification (COPPA compliance).

The AI coach has teen-safe guardrails built in and will always direct teens to appropriate resources if a safety concern is detected.

No. Purposd does not sell personal data to third parties. Your conversations with the AI coach, your prayer journals, your recovery progress, and your personal information are private.

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, and RevenueCat for subscription management — both are industry-standard services with strong privacy practices. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
