Faith-Centered Coaching for Teens

A safe space to figure it out.

Teen coaching at Purposd is built differently — not a lecture, not a classroom, not therapy. A real, honest, faith-grounded conversation about who you are, what you're going through, and who God created you to become.

Is This for Your Teen?

For the teen who is carrying more than they show.

Every teen is navigating something. Identity questions, peer pressure, anxiety, broken friendships, family stress, heartbreak, social media pressure, not knowing what they believe or who they are — these are real, and they deserve real support.

Purposd Teen Coaching is for the teen who wants to talk to someone who will actually listen — without judgment, without a script, without telling them what they should feel.

  • Teens navigating identity questions or feeling lost
  • Teens dealing with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or depression symptoms (not clinical treatment)
  • Teens who have experienced relationship pain — breakups, friendships, family conflict
  • Teens facing school stress, athletic pressure, or performance anxiety
  • Teens who want to grow in their faith but don't know how to apply it
  • Teens who feel unseen or misunderstood at home or school
Parents and guardians: we begin with a welcome call together. Teen sessions are 1-on-1 with Chestney. You'll receive periodic updates as agreed at the start. Your teen's privacy is respected.

The Coaching Framework

Six pillars. Built for your season.

Every teen coaching journey covers these six areas — because real growth is whole-person growth. Not just one problem. Not just one season. The whole you.

✝️

Faith & Identity

Who does God say you are — especially when the world says something different? We look honestly at where your sense of self is coming from and build it on something that doesn't change with other people's opinions, your grades, or how many followers you have.

💭

Mindset & Self-Talk

The way you talk to yourself matters more than almost anything else. We identify the inner voice — the self-doubt, the comparison, the "I'm not enough" — and start replacing those thoughts with truth. This is one of the most powerful shifts teens make in coaching.

❤️

Emotional Intelligence

Teens are often told to control their emotions — but rarely taught how to understand them. We learn to recognize what you are actually feeling, where it comes from, and how to respond instead of react. Emotional intelligence is not something you either have or don't — it is a skill you build.

🤝

Relationships & Boundaries

From friendships to family dynamics to romantic relationships — we look honestly at who is in your life, how those relationships make you feel, and whether they are building you up or breaking you down. You deserve relationships that are safe and real.

🎯

Purpose & Strengths

You do not have to have your whole life figured out at your age — but you can start getting clear on your gifts, your values, and what lights you up. We explore what you are good at, what you care about, and how God might be already shaping your story toward something meaningful.

📱

Habits & Digital Life

Social media, content consumption, sleep, movement, your physical environment — these shape how you feel about yourself more than most people realize. We look honestly at your daily habits and digital life, and build simple structures that support who you are actually trying to become.

The Coaching Foundation

Spirit. Soul. Body. — A whole-person space to grow.

Teen coaching looks at the full picture: faith, emotions, relationships, daily habits, and the world your teen moves through.

Spirit

Who God says you are — especially when the world says something different.

Many teens have been given a religious background but have not had space to ask their real questions about faith. Teen coaching creates that space. We look at what Scripture says about identity, worth, and purpose — and apply it directly to what your teen is actually experiencing.

  • What does God think about what I'm going through?
  • Do I actually believe what I say I believe?
  • What does it mean to have purpose at my age?

Soul

Your emotions, your thoughts, your inner world — not suppressed, understood.

Teens are often told what to feel or how to handle emotions without being given tools to actually process them. In Teen coaching, the soul dimension is about understanding emotional patterns — what triggers certain reactions, where anxiety lives, how past experiences shape current behavior — with compassion and biblical grounding.

  • Why do I keep reacting this way?
  • Where does this feeling actually come from?
  • How do I stop letting what people think run my life?

Body

Your habits, your phone, your environment — and how they shape who you're becoming.

For teens, the body dimension includes social media consumption, sleep, daily routines, how they use their phone, and the physical and digital environments they spend time in. These are not separate from emotional and spiritual health — they are deeply connected.

  • How is social media affecting how I see myself?
  • Why do I feel better or worse depending on who I'm around?
  • Are my daily habits helping me or hurting me?
The Teen Coaching Journey

What happens across 8 weeks.

Each week makes room for honest conversation, tools your teen can use, and steady forward movement.

01

Week 1 — Your Story

We start with you — not a questionnaire, not a test. Just an honest conversation about your life, your world, and what you want to be different.

02

Week 2 — Identity Foundation

Who are you — really? We look at what's shaping your sense of self: people's opinions, social media, past experiences — and what God's Word actually says.

03

Week 3 — Your Emotions Are Not the Enemy

We learn to understand emotions instead of running from or suppressing them. Your feelings are data — they point to something real.

04

Week 4 — Patterns & Reactions

Why do you respond the way you do? We trace your automatic reactions back to their roots — with no judgment, just honest understanding.

05

Week 5 — Relationships & Boundaries

Who is in your life, what role do they play, and are your relationships building you or breaking you down? We look at healthy versus unhealthy relationship patterns.

06

Week 6 — Your Digital World

Social media, content consumption, and your online environment shape you more than you realize. This week we look honestly at your digital habits.

07

Week 7 — Your Strengths & Purpose

What are you actually good at? What were you made for? We start identifying your God-given strengths and connecting them to a sense of purpose.

08

Week 8 — Your Next Chapter

You now have a clearer picture of who you are and where you're going. We map your next steps and celebrate how far you've come.

🌱 Purposd Teen Reflections

For the Teen Who Feels Left Out

You saw the pictures. You noticed who was there. You watched the story once… then twice… then one more time, like maybe you'd find an answer somewhere.

This reflection is for the teen who laughed it off on the outside — and felt every bit of it on the inside.

"Being left out of their plans
doesn't mean something's wrong with you."
